Good morning everyone I have just read the responses to my Victor and Monica subplot. Her first husband was content with just Nathan and Eva. We do not know much about the second husband except he gambled a lot. Monica has been described as a "trophy wife" for Stanton which can often be "arm candy". Also Stanton is much older and there is no information about his life before Monica but he does not seem to have any children. Just a thought, maybe he is gay. Once Eva marries Gideon, Monica will not have to worry about money for Eva or herself. I think Monica and Victory with a second child after their second meeting in twenty-five years is too delicious not to think about. In other words a second chance for Eva's parents is the second ultimate happy ending in this series and very romantic. Fellow Crossfire fans, have fun with my thoughts! PS Stanton hiding that he is gay would not be unheard of for a man of his generation and social position.

How about Theo James as Cary Taylor?

There are going to be five books. Should the television series present all five books in one season or should Eva's and Gideon's story be spread out over more then one season?

Monica is very busy trying to meet Gideon's requirement for a quick wedding. Â She is very stressed by the pressure but she succeeds. Â At the reception, she faints from exhaustion.....she thinks but she is pregnant. Â Baby daddy is Victor!! Â Â REMINDER Â Monica and Victor got together at Eva's apartment. Â This was their second meeting after not seeing each other for 25 years. Â Victor had returned to New York when he learned Eva had been abused by her stepbrother. Â The love Victor and Monica felt for each other was obvious. Â Most important, Monica is less then twenty years older then Eva. Â Her age would be 43 or younger.

 First model of Bentley SUV is a 2015 production model.  Hopefully it will come out in 2014.  The series has to have one!!!!

Sylvia's comments on Henry Cavill as Gideon Henry Cavill looking like Gideon Cross We know that there's news of a television series based on the Crossfire series. What is it about Henry Cavill that makes you think he would make a great Gideon? Most importantly, he’s the right age. Choosing an actor who isn’t yet thirty is very important to me. Also, Henry is beautiful. Who doesn’t love looking at him? He also conveys vulnerability and longing very well. In the last season of The Tudors, when Brandon fell in love with Brigitte, Henry was stunning in his display of yearning and hopelessness, and love. That said, I’ve been talking with the producers about the story and their plans for the show, and I trust that they’ll find the perfect Gideon. They’re big fans of Gideon and Eva, and they’re paying attention to what the readers want and what I want and what will do justice to the story. I’m thrilled to be working with Lionsgate on Crossfire and I’m excited about their vision for the series — which is my vision in living color — coming to fruition.

I wanted Cavill for Christian Grey and for Gideon.  Did you see Henry in The Tudors on Showtime?  He could so play Gideon!!!  Last I heard He is playing Napoleon Solo in a movie version of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.   Our lost  PS Henry is 6'1"

On August 5, 2013, Lionsgate acquired the television rights for Sylvia Day's Crossfire Series.  While picking the actors who play the characters may be a pipe dream as was demonstrated by the casting of Fifty Shades Of Grey, we fans can use this forum to express our preferences for many other things.  I would hope that we could receive consideration for "fan favorite" scenes, dialogues and concepts as well as music, my personal favorite.  We know, I hope, that  Sylvia will write her story of Gideon and Eva no matter how many suggestions we list for the last two books on this forum.  But we also know some of us will see our choices from her books portrayed in the television series.  Since the publication date for Captivated by You has not been released as of today, we can fill our time by making suggestions from the first three books for now.  I do not want to be a party pooper so do feel free to post your personal choices for actors to play any character you like.  Have Fun!!!!  PS For actors, remember Gideon is 6' 2" so hopefully your picks will be at least 6'.

This song is by Corinne Bailey Rae.  I really like it for Eva because of the line "Still I wonder why it is, I don't argue like this with anyone but you.  We do it all the time, blowing out my mind".  I think it would work when Eva leaves Gideon at the gala where she first meets Corinne and Dr. Terrence Lucas.  It would be in her head while she is on her way home alone.  And maybe again at the end of chapter 21 in "Bared to You" when Eva says "Hello Mr. Comfortable.  I'm Miss. Sylvia Day mentions Eva and Cary are listening to "Chasing Pavements" in the first chapter of "Bared to You". Â I think "One and Only" also by Adele would be great in background when Eva reads the prenuptial and realizes what Gideon is offering and saying to her with the document. Â One and Only is also a great, recurring background theme for the sturggles in their relationship.

Hi Nathalia  Love your song choice (This is What It Feels Like)!!  Just listened to it.  I particularly liked the reference to "ringing my phone", "the shore" and "frames (picture frames).Â

The cathedral could be The Cathedral Church of St John the Devine if you want size. Â I think Eva and Gideon would prefer their wedding be held at United Nations Chapel also known as the Church Center for the UN. Â It is small so only close friends and family would attend the ceremony. Â The Pierre on 61st Street and Fifth Avenue is the only only place the for the reception. Â Better than The Waldorf or The Plaza.
