Was it a 24 hour Publix cause they have the summer stuff out so I would have grabbed a beach chair and sat my arse down and just started to read.

Better not. I am so annoyed.

Just enter it doesn't hurt. I've entered blog contests before with over 10,000 entries and won so you never know. As a matter of fact I won a kindle paperwhite from a blog where there were almost 20,000 entries.

Okay I need to be talked off a ledge because I am so effing annoyed right now. I get that people have gotten the book early. I know that SD wanted it released all on the same day so people didn't feel slighted again. I know she has no control over who released the book when it shouldn't have been out there, but re-tweeting, tweets of favorite quotes from EWY just seems mean.

I've recently discovered that kindle books are downloaded like a line when it comes to a pre-order. The earliest I've gotten a pre-order is 12:02, the latest about 12:45. There is nothing stopping you from ordering at 12:01am Tuesday with the amazon one click option and then returning or cancelling your original order.

There are 2 days left to enter, so if you can't bring it up, try again.Â

I am sending a nastygram to Penguin. This happened with RIY and is why they were so strict with the release day. It really annoys me that it has happened AGAIN. This book has been at my local retailer for 2 weeks why can I not buy it? Haven't I waited long enough?

I also had mixed feeling. I loved the way the characters had developed and grown. But they spent so much time apart and Eva spent so much time hurting, I understood everything once I got to the end but it was difficult to go through on an emotional level. I have to think that Gideon is going to have HUGE issues in this book with the fact that he killed Nathan, sc*mbag or not he still took someone's life.Â

That was me Julie. I think that because Gideon had said Geoffrey and Elizabeth had been fighting constantly, plus she moved on so quickly. We know he didn't abuse Gideon, but Gideon feels the need to have control over CV Sr.. So I thought that Gideon might blame Chris for his dad's suicide. The affair being the final straw in a very stressful time for Geoffrey. I also wonder about Chris and Geoffrey being friends... which might explain a bit of Gideon's comment at the garden party about Cary being Eva's friend and therefore "his." Like you've crossed that line once already, and realize it was wrong perhaps... don't do it again. It just a thought, but one that I still think.

I missed this message the first look at the thread and I was just wondering where you were. Hope you had fun with your friends.

I love that line too. Gideon at his finest, especially after the poor Eva's been through.

I found a long haired one, although I don't get to see those amazing eyes as well so it's just okay for me. Â
