    Well, we know Gideon is Mr. Clueless with relationships, but it doesn't excuse what he has done totally. Reading that scene made my heart break for poor Eva, I can only imagine how hearing it is going to be. Where have you guys downloaded it from?

    You know LN I feel like emotional is worse. I know Gideon has asked for room to screw up, but this was really just on a whole new level. I can understand Eva being wary, but ultimately she will be able to look at this from Gideon's POV and know that he came from a place of love with all of this. Don't you think?

    I have to agree Julie. At this stage of the game, I can't see Eva even entertaining a fleeting thought about Brett. While this whole situation is so screwed up, Eva knows without a doubt she loves Gideon, and while she might now have understood or liked the way he went about thing ultimately he was trying to protect her in a way that nobody ever had. She knows Gideon loves only her.

    Obviously I am not a fan of today's clue. Here's the message that goes with it:  23 days... Can a song change the way you feel?   Not when it comes to who Eva needs to be with. Brett needs to keep on moving.

    I figured I'd bring this over just to confirm: Â In chapter 7 after Gideon gives his speech a "lovely redhead who appeared to be in her early forties" tells Eva she is a lucky women. Is the redhead Dr. Lucas' wife? Â Sylvia Day No.

    Playing catch-up is awful, but I'm glad you got to read them. Â I'm sure his heart did drop. I felt Eva's pain so deeply. I know he was hurting, and reading it the second time around it was still painful, maybe even more so because I knew Gideon was hurting too. This is one huge mess.

    I was thinking you effin SOB. Â Gideon was probably so surprised to see her there, and of course he knew it was killing her.

    Gideon tells Eva in that infamous car ride from Dr. Lucas' office that he can't sleep. I'm sure he has been under siege with memories of Eva in general, memories of her at his apartment and thoughts that he might have actually lost her for good.

    I really am so desperate for that talk LN. I am also hoping Eva starts calling some of the shots. I feel like Gideon has screwed this up royally.

    Gideon's gotta get out of there before daylight. I wonder how they will start contacting each other. Disposable cell?

    We are currently on a Wednesday night. I hope Eva does mention Deena to Cary cause that could get all kinds of messy.

    Let's Julie. What do you think happens in the rest of Chapter 2?

    Very true Julie. Cary was right when he said Gideon is thinking the same thing about her being a prize (I'm paraphrasing) as she's thinking about him. They both never thought they deserved that type of love and devotion.

    I love that quote LN. It really makes me think about Gideon never feeling loved. Needing the reassurance from Eva that her love isn't conditional. He's so broken and only Eva gets to see that.
