Hi Sscrph, You could very well be correct. There is so little information to go on, that everything is just speculation at this point. I looked at the photo and another forum member had made the potential suggestion of a "Richard".  How many relevant characters with the name Richard are there?  Thus far, the potentially plausible Richard might be Richard Stanton. Momo's hubby to date. We know that in the last book; Mommyca dropped her drawers to knock boots with her former Latin lover . Monica left the apartment visibly upset and shared a cab with Megumi who may have deducd that something; either happened or Monica may have let a word or two slip during that shared cab ride.  Let me just be clear that this just a light-hearted post based on a photo and "wild" speculation.  I wonder how much we will get to see of Monica's story and how that backstory may be introduced.  Another quick thought came to mind; Deanna had been "stalking" Gideon and Eva for information in the last book. Could it be that Deanna somehow got the scoop on something that Monica did. Could Deanna investigations have revealed something in Monica's past? As we know, Deanna has no scruples (to speak of) and would go to any lengths to get the "scoop" on a story. So, could Deanna be firing at someone in the Gid/Eva camp, in order to provoke a response? What to do you think? What does everyone think?

Hi Biarbocalb, That is such an interesting photo! Question: If MoMo and Richard are on the "rocks", who spilled the beans and just exactly which beans were spilled? Affair? Adultery? Or something else?  Questions, questions, questions...Â

Hi Ladies, I went back and reread the "excerpt" and I noticed two different and potentially conflicting scenarios.  At the beginning of the description Eva talks about Gideon's location or lack thereof;  "...Hadn't come to me, even if only to sleep next door..."  A few sentences down; Eva describes the apartment: "The penthouse fell silent for an endless moment...", it is my understanding the Gideon only has one penthouse; the one he lived in previously before Eva. He rented the apartment next door to Eva and Cary. So my question is; did Sylvia ever describe Gideon and Eva's love nest/secret apartment as a penthouse? I don't recall that.  Is it possible that when Eva didn't find Gideon at "their place", she went looking for Gideon at his Penthouse?  Did anyone else happen to notice that little difference? Â

Hi Ladies, Could it be possible that Gideon got those bruises after having a personal workout or training session? If memory serves me correctly; Eva had several bruises during her Krav Maga lessons with Parker. Could that type of scenario be playing out with Gideon as well?  It is clear that Gideon is really upset about something, but I wonder how easily he could get into a fight with someone. Gideon is still under investigation for Nathan's murder right? So would Gideon draw more attention to himself by getting into a fight with someone? What does everyone think?

  Hi Sscrph & Jmhope, I too am curious about what Monica's backstory will be. Do you ladies know whether Monica's story will come out in book four or book five? I cannot remember. Thanks.

Hi Sharon, I haven't read Kallypso Masters' latest book. It hasn't come out in print yet, but I am waiting patiently.  I read your comments and I can understand where you are coming from. I agree with you; I don't think that a BDSM type of story would fit the characters of Luke and Cassie (especially Cassie).  It is a shame that a wonderful tool like the Internet, is being used to spread unkind comments. I agree with you as well. At the end of the day, it is the consumer who has the power to either purchase a book or leave it back on the bookshelf. If a book is highly irresponsible in the material that has been printed, then the consumer has every right to contact the publisher and express his/her concerns about said printed material and not purchase further material from said author.  Anyway, when is Book Bash? If Kallypso Masters has a meet-and-greet, if you happen to attend and take notes, feel free to share sister! I am all ears?  Do you know if Sylvia will be doing another meet-and-greet with her fans? I hope you have a good time.  I almost forgot; how did you like Maya Banks' last book? I know that you had mentioned that Van was your favourite character. Did the book live up to your expectations?Â
