Hi Sharonm745, I agree with you that Elizabeth Vidal needs to apologize to her son for her appalling behaviour towards her son; both when he was a child and now as an adult. She also needs to apologize to Eva for her snide remarks and comments. She needs to grow up and start acting like a mother and stop thinking of herself if she ever hopes on having a relationship with her son in the future.

Hi Claudine, I hope that Gideon does have it out with his mother. I think he needs to get all of his issues off of his chest and he needs to stop carrying around all of that crap from his past and let his mother start taking responsibility for what happened to him. What do you think?

Hi Azmich, I agree. I think that Gideon needs to have whatever kind of fallout with his mother in private. I don’t think that either party needs an audience and it might only make matters worse between Gideon and his mother. What do you think?

Sometimes stories don’t have happy endings. Maybe Gideon will never reconcile with his mother. Do you want Gideon to reconcile with his mother after everything that she has done? She still doesn’t seem capable of accepting any kind of responsibility where her son and her actions are concerned.

Hi Sharonm745, I hope Eva does tell Gideon about her conversation with his mother. I think that the key to these two functioning successfully is open and clear communication with one another. If either continues to keep secrets and tell half truths, then I don’t think that they will ultimately survive. What do you think?

Hi Julie, You would be absolutely surprised at what abuse survivors can remember. It can completely blow your mind at times! I wouldn’t put it past Gideon to remember every single solitary detail about; the who, the what, the when and the why. I wonder if we will get a chance to hear about some of Gideon’s’ secrets.Â

Hi Mrs. X, I don’t know whether Gideon would need to see that Video of Eva. At the end the day, these two are now married. Ultimately, Gideon got what he wanted and needed most from Eva. He got a lifetime commitment. I think that commitment may have soothed something in him and that for the most part, Eva’s past is her past. Nathan is now dead, so it seems like nothing/no one else can really harm her.  Can she face some embarrassing situations because of foolish things she may have done before Gideon? Yes, absolutely. None of those things have the power to really harm her.

Hi Everyone, I am going to go out on a limb here and directly state that there is NO WAY that Angus wouldn’t report any abuse that he may have actually witnessed. If Angus actually walked in on Gideon getting raped and he DIDN’T do anything about it, then Angus goes straight into the SH*T pile!! Stopping the abuse is not enough! Period! Angus would have had a moral and legal responsibility to contact the police himself!!! Telling the parents or not in this instance just simply isn’t enough! Angus would have witnessed this crime in progress which would have obligated him to contact the authorities.   Period!  I just think; what if that was my child? Would I want said person to just keep quiet or would I want them to do something about the abuse. Just physically interrupting a rape isn’t enough. Sorry ladies.  If Angus knew about the abuse and didn’t contact the police or CPS, then his actions aren’t too darned honourable. Yes what he would have done in physically preventing an abuse is good and honourable, but not reporting it to the police or the CPS doesn’t cut it for me. What would his possible excuse be for dropping such a huge ball?Â

  Hi Julie, That’s where you and I differ. I believe that Dr. Lucas started lying through his teeth from the moment that he discovered the abuse and covered it up. Why else would a man have such distain for another human being? Yes we know that Gideon slept with Anne. There is no dispute or denying that fact.  But for the fact that Dr. Lucas lied (to everyone and anyone) and covered up the abuse; by lying on reports, falsifying documents, failing to notify the police and CPS and by failing to inform the governing and licensing body about Hugh, Gideon and he would have never had any contact with one another.   Surely Dr. Lucas’s gross negligence and criminal behaviour cannot be lost on him. I really don’t think that he can be that stupid.Â

  No way Sister! That's what tequila shots are for! Everyone will forget all about their stress and pressures and worries and hopefully the alcohol will kill off those few brain cells that came up with all those stinky theories. So it's a win win all around, don't you think?  Â

  Hi Nrock, I think that Cary was short on cash because he modeling career hadn’t taken off yet. Yes he did land two big accounts but Sylvia doesn’t mention any other previous work, so maybe we are seeing Cary at the start of his career.    I know that Cary may not have been paid fully or even paid yet. Modelling agencies settle their accounts with their clients (the businesses who use their models for the advertisments). As such, some agencies pay monthly or when the advertisers settle up their accounts. Cary may have worked, but he may still be waiting to be paid.  I get the feeling that prior to moving to New York, Cary may have been still cleaning himself up and getting his life together. This is all just strictly speculation, so who knows? I hope we get a little more background on Cary before the series ends. What do you think?

Hi Fsumom, I agree. The only way a plan like that could possibly have worked is if Corinne poked holes in the "condoms" before hand. I personally don't think that she would have gotten away with it (if that was her intent). Gideon and Jean Francois don't look exactly the same. Gideon's eyes are blue, Jean Francois' are green (jade)...HUGE DIFFERENCE n'est pas?Â
