My own suspicion over the anger is in a post I made a few days ago, along the lines of it could be learned behaviour. Hugh taught Gideon to control his anger via mas*****tion and Hugh then went on to penetrate Gideon, possibly violently (in his nightmares he is writhing in agony. I guess he now relates very rough s*s to his anger and uses that to dissipate the anger. In the elevator scene he knows he should stay away from Eva but she taunts him with the red teddy. I took his actions then to be tying her up to stop her from taunting him further, then going off to shower and drink lots of water to cool down some of the raging 'ardour' he was now feeling and the water would possibly be to try and dilute the alcohol already in his blood stream. He also needed Eva to be more relaxed hence giving her a small glass of spirits.It was doubtless this anger that rose in him when he was with Anne due to her likeness to Hugh, which led him to be 'particularly depraved' with her and from the fact she came back for more and he allowed her to (because he felt he was punishing Hugh as well as Terence Lucas) she must have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. And I bet she hasn't found anyone quite as good at what he did to her to take his place which could be one of the reasons she is after him.Noting he was 'particularly depraved' with Anne could mean there was some depravity with others, after all his early s*xual encounters were all forced on him, possibly the vanilla s*x we assume he had with Corrine was not enough for him, whereas with Eva he realised that it was and although he would like to have a little of the kink, he's actually quite happy with vanilla.

I also think in the elevator he was confused and thats why he needed to settle... He normally associates taking out his anger on brunette women that he doesnt care about but this nite he would be taking out his anger on the woman he loves more than life and she happens to be blonde so it must have been really messing with his head...

Well since we are getting down and dirty lol I do have a question about Gideon's sexual habits...Going down on a woman is a very intimate act and usually reserved for a woman a man really cares about even Gideon refers to it that way when talking to Magdalene about catching him in the library with Eva...He said he was not going to apologiize for making love to his girlfriend in a closed room...

So if he didnt use his dic$ to pleasure the women he must really have very skilled hands etc because I just cant see him "eating" for lack of a better term all those hundreds of women and then of course there would be the risk of HPV...

Also you make a good point about Christopher and voyeurism... Perhaps he did see what was going on between Gideon and Hugh and has repressed those memories...I wonder if Christopher has nightmares too???

I hope the book will be released within the summer 2015. I don't know if Sylvia follows our discussion, but must be quite entertaining for her as well.

If the case is shelved and G is safe, why does Sylvia keep Graves in the story? As for Deanna, I don't for 1 second think she is handled.

I stick with my earlier theory that Graves is an abuse survivor and feels connected to Eva in this way...she doesnt know about Gideon's past but Im sure she has taken advantage of the programs from the Crossroads Foundation and feels she owes him a debt of gratitude like he saved her life so she saved his so to speak...

I agree with Anne as the scariest  because her motive is revenge  .. not on Deanna though she just had a bruised ego  after Gideon rejected her that one time  .. I think she is an opportunist  so she'll be on Gideon good side for her career development , when she told Gideon about Corinne book that was outside of her contract to cover the wedding.  about Graves, she has extensive  knowledge of Gideon specially the Crossroad foundation ( she recommended it to Eva when Eva asked about a project she can fund)  and in so many ways Graves has  implied her admiration for Gideon  ..

This is exactly what bothers me about Deanna. There was no reason for her to have to stop by Gideon's office to tell him about

Corinne's book deal. That news was going to break the next day anyway in the tabloids and at that point there was nothing he could do to prevent it...Deanna just wanted an excuse to see Gideon and her little comment about "enjoying" the view didn't go unnoticed. Im glad Gideon told her Eva would be there shortly and also his other subtle warnings were perfect. He is finally seeing the light as far as Deanna is concerned and realizes she still wants him. She too is on the short list for Krav Maga. I want her gone too. LoL

Do you remember all that, or have you been catching up on all four books?? I'm impressed, and appreciate your effort.

Chapter 7 EWY due to Cary's google searches of Dr. Lucas; Eva is now informed that Dr. Lucas' wife is a doctor too... A psychiatrist.

There is no mention made of her hair color by Cary or Eva at this point. It is in Chapter 18 of CBY that Gideon informs Eva that she has to be careful around Anne Lucas etc.

It's possible Sam handed Brett an original copy of the sex tape on a flash drive, the same way Sam handed Gideon a copy on a flash drive. What if Brett had the flash drive in his pocket while he was at Gideon's office and the experts were erasing his computer and tablet? He'd shown up expecting to see Eva. If he had been hoping for a chance to show her the footage of them hanging out together, supposedly on the tape as well, a flash drive would be the easiest thing to carry, even easier than a tablet. Ah well. He's either still got a copy or he doesn't, and if he still does, my bet is a flash drive. Gideon will keep looking and he honestly can tell Eva he tried. What really makes my skin crawl is the thought of Christopher watching that tape.

Yes Christopher watching the tape is creepy; no wonder Gideon cant sleep; I bet it drives him crazy...especially since he hasnt seen it himself and he can only imagine how bad or not it is. . :(

I think that Tat felt that she was losing Cary to Trey and what better way to keep a man than say I'm pregnant and it's yours Cary !!!

She didn't take control of protection and or birth control she doesn't strike me as faithful, she preens and flaunts herself at Gideon in front of Cary and Eva.

I'd like to see at Gideon and Eva's wedding Trey there with Cary and Tat found out as a liar and possibly not even pregnant . Her mood swings are just down to her general b**** ness

Chris jr gets a bit of bad press but justifiably so. We saw what he did to maggie at the garden party. He wants to promote six ninths at the expense of Eva. A pattern seems to develop he doesn't was to see Gideon happy is that guilt for not speaking up when Hugh was abusing Gideon . Had Hugh tried with him and then went to Gideon .?

Elizabeth Vidal her son tells her the terrible things Hugh did but yet she didn't believe him. But I'm thinking out of the box could it be that Hugh or Dr Lucas have info on Elizabeth that connected her to the financial fraud along with her husband. So they therefore blackmailed her to keep quiet or they'd expose her . Elizabeth unable to take her own life like Her husband had and unable to face the prospect of court cases her reputation splashed across the newspapers and media took the option of not believing her son in the hope that he would just forget it and move on with his life .

I think Elizabeth Vidal was just in denial and really unable to cope with the horrible accusations Gideon was making at the time. Remember she was probably still damaged from the Geoffrey Cross scandal and couldn't deal with another scandal. I dont know why she wouldnt want to lean on her husband...I think he was probably crazy about her and would have done anything to support her but I think Elizabeth thought that maybe Chris would leave her because of what would be the impending scandal with his step son...so sad. But I do not think there was any type of blackmail involved.

I agree with you. I think Cary has seen pictures of Anne when he did the research of Dr.L.

Didn't Cary also tell Eva in CBY, that he had quit sleeping around? Even monks got more action than he did (his words). He tries to take responsibility for making Tat pregnant, and he wants to make his relationship with Trey work. We don't know who the redhead at the gala was, regardless it's far from messing around one evening and having "an affair"?!?

Since I'm on the subject, do you think it is Carys child? I'm hoping that it's not, it will ruin so much for him. I want him to be able to "grow up" and find some stability in his own life first. I want him to feel independent and have a healthy relationship. He experienced so much crap in his life and I wish all the good tings for him. A part of me thinks that Tat is taking advantage of Cary, sort of fame and glory. He lives in a great appartment, celebrity friends and a promising career and perhaps she thinks he's more wealthy than he is. There is something about that pregnancy that don't add up for me... It might be that I REALLY don't like her, she should rather go for Chris Jr!

If Tat is pregnant I dont think its with Cary; remember Tat went back to Prague for a bit before Cary had his accident; I think when she was there she hooked up with someone and that's who the father is...

I read your coments and I respectfully have to disagree about Eva viewing the video tape.  I think that she would feel horribly violated, which in fact she was.  She never gave consent/permission to have another man watch her and video tape her engaging in a s*x act.  That would be akin to her participating in a type of ######, which I couldn't see her doing.  In Canada, a person can be charged criminally for videotaping a person engaging in a s*x act without consent.  Making copies and distributing them can also result in further charges of distributing ######. 

 

Regardless of what Brett's motives were, as misguided as they may have been, he committed (with Sam Yimara video taping) some very serious offenses.  I would have to seriously sit back and question just how "innocent" Brett was in this whole scenario.  I can only apply real life common sense to a situation like this.  I would think that most men would be beyond angry about finding out one of their "crew members/roadies/band mates, etc." had not only video taped them having s*x with their girlfriend, but they also watched, which I couldn't see many men being ok with that.  What guy would want to have another guy sit back and have him have s*x with his girlfriend?  I can't see it.    

 

Eva was also taped and photographed by Nathan when he would rape her.  I think that viewing the "s*x tape" between her and Brett might trigger some very horrific past abuse memories.  Eva knows all to well that she was a "recovering sl*t" (her words) and going back to revisit past events that she was clearly remorseful about, would only open up old wounds unnecessarily.  What do you think?  What does everyone think?

Totally agre with you Gigi and that's why I think it so romantic that Gideon is tearing down Pete's bar...Eva doesn't like to remember the girl she once was...her words...so in a small way Gideon is making it easier for her to forget.

Well ladies I know some of us like the audio version of crossfire but I wanted to know what everyone thinks of the two narrators Jill Redfield and Jeremy York?

Also the Scottish accent for Angus made me giggle!!!!!!

Great to hear from you again ShazScott....Initially I hated the new narrator's voice I especially do not like when he does Eva's voice. I still love Jill's rendition of Gideon's voice and I love all the accents ...Angus and Manuel and Arnoldo... I like Mr. York's voice in the very dramatic parts but I still like Jill's the best. Maybe it is because I am so used to her. Love the elevator scene in Audible...I think its the best scene in all 4 books so far.

Eva hasn't told Cary anything about Anne so he has no idea about her significance, and only Gideon really knows how dangerous Anne is. And like Dr. Travis, Anne is a mental health professional. It's possible she figured out some of Cary's triggers and so she would know what could make matters worse and she's sick enough to push those buttons. The Anne that I read about when Gideon barged into her office scared the heck out of me. Look at what buttons of his she tried pushing.

So true Lighthouse Anne is very scary and I agree with you that Eva is not aware of what a danger Anne is and she certainly hasn't communicated anything about her to Cary because she really doesn't know that much herself. Cary would never deliberately hurt

Eva but it is very easy to see how someone as diabolical as Anne could manipulate an unsuspecting, vulnerable Cary. :(

Perhaps Christopher's instability will come to the forefront in OWY... I think Christopher 's jealousy will finally bring him to a critical point...Gideon landed the hot girl and he's happy which is something Christopher cant't tolerate coupled with Gideon showing him who's boss at Vidal Records...Even Chris Sr sided with Gideon over the video issue and he usually does't take sides...I think Christopher is going to come on to Eva and or manhandle her in some way and she's going to give him a taste of the Krav Maga hopefully this will be a warm up for Anne and Corinne too...

I'm still not sure about Detective Graves myself however, I think this is SD's way of wrapping her storyline up.  Some of these issues have to stay closed or book 5 is going to 1000+ pages.

 

Eva's Krav Maga skills have to be used on someone other than Gideon.  She started them for self defense not to protect her against her husband...even though she used them for that.  Dr. Petersen is going to help Gideon control his nightmares.  (In real life there is no way a psychiatrist can lessen the nightmares in this short period of time.)  I still think she is going to take out Anne or  Brett or hopefully both.

Yes, but weren't there still one copy left? I thought so.... Brett or Chris Jr?!?! And G got a copy burning in his pocketI think you're right about that. In one way I want it to happen, on the other hand I just want the film to be deleted. I wonder if Gideons ever going to see it, or if he's able to keep his promise to Eva. (He should, for his own good, she's going to snap and start running again... And he has to live with the pictures in his mind!)

If he does, he's going to see that Eva is a changed person, but then again, who wants to watch their beloved one sc**w another person

It must be devastating for Gideon to know that Chris Jr has seen Eva and Brett in action. We all know that he's seen it, he's to big of an as****e to refuse...

I don't think that Terry and Ann will make a big public deal over Gideon.  They have their own family to protect  - would you want the public to know that your brother (in-law) was a child molester?  Or that you had slept around while you were married to someone else?  Considering their medical field they would have more to loose than gain by going public.

 

One comment on Eva's hair color - my niece is married to someone from Iran - they have two daughters.  One has her dad's coloring - dark skin and hair.  The other daughter looks just as Irish as her mother - red curly hair and pale skin!  If you would look at the two of them side by side you would never had guessed they were related.  So I can believe the blond hair.

Yes, Gideon even mentions that fact to Ann when he goes to her office. Is she willing to lose her career and marriage to get revenge against him. I think at this point she is. She is so off track that she will risk losing everything to get back at Gideon. He will destroy her and he has the means I just hope he does it before she gets to Eva. I think Raul will put a tail on Ann in the next book so that is how Gideva will piece togerther her connection with Corinne and possibly Cary and whoever else she has drawn into her web...

Yes I think Anne is behind Corinne writing the tell all book. If your therapist tells you you will get closure by doing this then you would probably think it was a good idea... I think Eva will be the one to figure it out in the end.

I think some people are missing the point about Crossfire. The series is not about twist after twist that will make your head explode .. its about 2 damaged people who truly love each other but has so many issues to work out both on personal and professional level. It is also a no leap in time book so a day-to-day happening was  vital. This was Gideons' POV  and there was a lot happening on his side of the story. Those reviewer were ###### me off.  One of them even said , the Nathans' death wasn't wrapped up,, I was like WTH , Nathans death was resolved in BTY  through Graves info on Eva and first part of EWY.. To me I love love this series.

I dont know why people that have barely read the books bother to post their opinions on those sites. Sometimes I think did we even read the same book? I have read this series numerous times lol an embarrassing amount of times and listened to them on the way to work a million times. The characters have so many layers... The emotion is raw and real and the sex is just the icing on the cake. I think it says something that when you read a book and it sticks with you and you find yourself thinking about it on and off throughout the day...That to me is the mark of a "good" read; but the fact that you want to talk about it with others as we do here makes it an "amazing" read. . :)

Im beginning to think Gideon did not bring that much women on his f.. pad. He said to Eva that there were just times that when he gets lonely and dont want to talk that he accept offers, He said he works hard and work out more so he was often tired. He must have made sure its a one time thing. The only women that cant let go of him were those he used more than once to get back to someone. also, I guess being kinky on the bedroom was natural for some and as long they were pleasured they dont find anything wrong with it.

So true. It was so apparent when Gideon spoke to Corinne for the first time in his office and he warned her to tread lightly where Eva was concerned . And also later he realized that he previously thought of Corinne as the young girl she once was not as she is now. I took that to mean that he was finally seeing for himself how manipulative and calculating she could be in her quest to get him back...No Eva should not fear Corinne; it is Anne Lucas that really has it in for her. . :(

Iwasinger "Christopher Vidal – He is just so full of hate and jealousy towards Gideon. Not sure it is anymore than that. I am not convinced that he was molested. His behavior points more towards bitterness than damage. Just my opinion."Christopher has some idea Gideon wanted him dead since the day he was born - wonder what happened early on that either Gideon has forgotten about, or Christopher has misunderstood, yet neither of them has sat down and discussed it?

Hello everyone, I’m new to the group and have enjoyed reading everyone’s comments and opinions. In anticipation of the release of CBY, I re-listened to the first 3 books  and I think I’m ready to contribute my opinions as well, so here it goes:

 

Gideon: I enjoyed Gideons POV. I liked knowing what he was thinking and feeling while putting on his “steel façade†for the world, like when he negotiated with Mark on the Monday morning after his split with Eva. I was also glad that we were introduced to some of Gideon’s “friends†in this book. It gave us a look at a more relaxed side of him, but I was disappointed that none of his friends were just friends, and not employees or business associates. Arash is awesome, so glad to meet him,  but he is still Gideon’s employee. He can call Gideon on his sh*t but he still has to jump when Gideon says jump. Because of that they can never  really be “no strings attached†friends. Same with Arnaldo, yes he cares for Gideon very much, but he also owes Gideon his life for saving him after a bad break-up and financially backing him in the restaurant venture.  I think that on some level Gideon understands this and feels that without Eva he is truly alone, which would explain his sheer panic everytime he feels he may lose Eva. So glad he is opening up, even if he felt forced to. That is the only way he will heal. Hope he finds peace in the 5^th book.

 

Eva: We have to remember that Eva is only 24 and had a difficult childhood. it is amazing that she has overcome so much and is still strong enough to go toe to toe with Gideon,  while attempting to drag him from the very dark place that he has hidden himself in for so long. But her youth and immaturity shows. For example she behaves badly in from of Arnoldo, but then is upset that he does not care for her.  She knows that Gideon has an empire and he had already told her that she should work for him so they could continue to build his empire together, but also it would eliminate the possibility of her inadvertanly working for any of his competitors. She knows this, and still either ignores or somehow does not know that that the Phaze one project  is in direct competition to her husband. That’s immature and irresponsible and naïve in the extreme. And yes Mark is talented but he is still a Junior associate and she should have known something was up because Gideon did the same thing with the Kingsman Vodka campain. Gideon offering Mark a job, knowing that It would result in Eva losing hers, was maybe not the best approach, but he is a ruthless business man and is not used to asking for permission before making a business decision. I can understand her fury but she should have already realized that life as she knew it to that point is essentially over as soon as she said “I doâ€. And honestly would she have said “Sure Gideon go ahead and offer my boss a jobâ€. Duh!! Of course not. That would have caused a huge fight as well. I understand Sylvia had to create a catalyst to force Gideon to finally open up, but I do hope we see some growth in Eva in the 5^th book as she is getting tiring. And frankly I don’t enjoy seeing Gideon on his knees.

 

Brett: I do believe that Brett was manipulated by Christopher from the moment Eva was outed as the Golden girl, so I feel a bit bad for him in that respect. I think Brett thinks he has real feelings for Eva. I don’t think that his bad judgment about the video was done out of real greed, but out of manipulation by both Christopher and his band mates. Given Eva’s behavior in their past he may truly believe that she will be ok with the video. That he did not anticipate Eva’s reaction shows how little he truly knows her. I think he will make one last attempt, but will realize quickly that there is no hope.  There are just too many larger story lines to be resolved and I think, or hope this one will be resolved quickly.   I do think Brett will go some distance in redeeming himself with  re Christopher, and he has already taken steps in that direction by demanding that the video be re-done.

 

Cary: He was much more damaged than Eva because rather than a mom who swept in to remove the threat the way Monica did with Nathan, Cary’s damage was directly caused by his mother. Major damage. Eva was the first person who cares for him despite his beautiful packaging and the bonus was a new mom, Monica. I think that Cary’s pride, what he has managed to build of it, is taking a hit since moving to New York with Eva. I think the apartment and Monica and Richard’s generosity does weigh on his conscience and he  feels he needs to accept Gideon’s “pity†apartment because he cannot afford to live on his own with a baby on the way, again a hit to his pride. Further, being a model, he is back to being admired and valued only for his outside packaging. His anchor, Eva, is absent. She gives him value. She has a right to her life, but Cary, being so damaged, needs more of an anchor so he is adrift and behaving badly.  Tatiana would drive anyone to madness.  I hope that is resolved in a way that everyone is not to hurt and I hope  Trey stays in the picture for Cary’s sake. Also, I think that Cary may feel a bit left behind by Eva, but in the end he is very loyal and protective of her, which would explain his sometimes hostile reactions to Gideon, even after all Gideon has done for him. If he sided with Gideon out of appreciation, then he would only be selling his allegiance to the highest bidder and that is not Cary’s style. He is Eva’s best friend and biggest champion and that will not change no matter what. The Anne and Cary connection had not crossed my mind, but it’s possible and very scary! Anne is obviously a master manipulator and Cary is mentally weak right now, she could certainly use him to get to Eva without Cary’s knowledge. 

 

Corinne: Grrr!!!! After attempting suicide and murdering her baby, she is after Gideon again! She probably took a cab straight from the hospital to his office. She does not even mourn her child, all she says is “ I couldn’t believe it, after trying for so longâ€. That’s it, no sadness or guilt, Just  continuing to throw herself at Gideon! Wow!! And a tell-all book will remind him of all the good times and convince him that he does really love her!! Really? Wow!! Just Wow!!!  I do believe that she knew about the baby ( how could she not)  and agree that her goal was to get Gideon compromised and pass the baby off as his. The timing would have been off, but not by as long if she had managed it as soon as she returned to NY. Obviously as time went by that seemed less likely, which is why she is not mourning the baby.  She is obviously sick!

 

Monica: Get’s on my very last nerve! Yes she did the right thing by saving Eva from Nathan and removing her from that home. She obviously loves her daughter and Cary very much, but really!!?? Beyond that, her life’s ambition is to be the perfect arm candy for a very rich and powerful man and making herself worth her price tag. I find her shallow and irritating. She and Victor will NEVER get back together. She could never be happy with him, period, whether she loves him or not.

 

Victor: I think Victor’s eyes will be open in the 5^th book relative to Monica. I think he will realize that he is in love with a beautiful memory and that the reality of Monica does not match his memory of her. I hope he is finally able to move on.

 

Chris Vidal: His reaction to Eva’s revelation about Gideon came out of nowhere. We really don’t meet Chris after the garden party in the first book and get absolutely no feel for his relationship with Gideon, beyond a fond “we can always hope†line.  I do not always agree with Eva’s methods in defending Gideon. I realize she thought Chris knew, but regardless, the subject of Gideon’s abuse is so sensitive and she just brings it up. I was not comfortable with that.  I was, however, so glad that there is someone else in Gideon’s corner willing to fight for him beside Eva. I am glad Chris left Elizabeth and unlike other’s opinions, do not believe that they will reconcile with Eva’s help. I don’t see Eva forgiving Elizabeth either, frankly, but Chris, no. Why? Because Chris tells Gideon that he has always considered him his own son. As a father it is his right and responsibility to protect and defend his children and not only did Elizabeth not protect and defend Gideon, but she did not allow Chris to do it either. She took away his right to be a real father to Gideon.  As a result, he lost his son, Gideon, without knowing why. Ultimate betrayal = no forgiveness.  I do hope that Chris and Gideon can move forward from here with a closer relationship.

 

Elizabeth Vidal: Just like the character in “Ordinary People†that Ireland compares her to, she deserves to end up alone. However, I would like an explanation as to why she took Gideon to Terrance Lucas, Hugh’s brother-in-law. How stupid and irresponsible. And then she believes him! Did she not follow up because she was embarrassed? stressed?  did not want to go through another scandal? going through a rough pregnancy with Ireland??? Whatever the reason, there is no excuse!

 

Ireland: Is a breath of fresh air. So cute and it’s so sweet to see how much she loves Gideon and Eva. I really hope that she is not collateral damage in any of the “battles†that Gideon is fighting with all of the folks trying to get him. That mysterious boyfriend who cannot publicly claim her because his grandparents lost money to Gideon’s dad, concerns me. I want her untouched!!

 

Anne and Terry Lucas: Don’t know why Terry Lucas is still with Anne after her various affairs, but he is obviously an idiot and now he is probably a very scared idiot because Eva and Chris know what he did to Gideon.  Anne is just scary and probably is manipulating and medicating Corinne. She does not seem to have any boundaries, certainly not professional ones, and is capable of anything. Using Cary to get to Eva and therefore Gideon is not out of the question for her. I see both of the Lucas’ losing their medical practices. One can hope!

 

Christopher Vidal – He is just so full of hate and jealousy towards Gideon. Not sure it is anymore than that. I am not convinced that he was molested. His behavior points more towards bitterness than damage. Just my opinion.

Hi lwasinger welcome to the forum; enjoyed reading all of your opinions. I feel guilty about not liking Eva right now in this book but as soon as I read the first 3 chapter excerpt I knew this book had a different vibe. I loved EWY soooo much and I think Gideva were so connected in those few weeks; what happened in that short time span for Eva to become confused and start sniping at Gideon for lack of a better term... She always had a Latin temper but suddenly it seems to be rearing its ugly head often and Gideon the unwelcome recipient. When they were in the limo going down to the Outer Banks I think this would have been a perfect time for Eva to lose her temper and say she had enough but she didnt say a word. You are absolutely correct that Eva is very young and had a difficult childhood. Even though Gideon is only 28 himself he has always had an uber amount of responsibility with his businesses and that developed the discipline he needed to survive his abuse. He says himself that he needs money too and it gives him the security he needs to feel good about himself in at least that way. Because of her abuse Eva has always been spoiled and coddled by Monica and Stanton and her Dad because he was never able to watch her grow up and even by Cary who must think of her as his life-saver also. And now Gideon thinks of her as his angel and treats her as such so she doesnt often experience the word no or rejection from any of her inner circle. Actually even though Eva needs to chill out , I didnt blame her for wanting her space from Gideon at the end and I didnt consider this one of her usual runners. Gideon knew he fu$$ed up as soon as he told Eva he offered Mark a job. He even went as far as to say he should probably have stuck with his original plan of slow seduction in getting Eva to work with him. But he just reverted to his alpha male persona as usual. Gideon is smart enough to know that wasnt going to go over well with Eva ...I have to say ...what was

he thinking???I hope they get back on track early in the next book. The opening scene may be their joint appointment with Dr. Peterson and their dinner date. I hope it is very romantic like when Eva went to dinner that first nite in EWY at their love nest apartment. We can only hope. . :)
