I agree. Even though there is no statue of limitations of murder in the U.S. a lot of cold cases never get solved. The NYPD would have plenty of new active cases to investigate. Plus like you said usually a cold case is only reproached if their are family members pushing for it or new evidence comes to light. Both would be unlikely in this case.

I just assumed it was a nervous habit. But it is possible. However i just do see he being that "free" with her. i think with that kind of relationship you need total trust. He didn't even trust her with his secrets, so its hard for me to grasp that he would trust her in that kind of sexual situation.Â

I thought that Graves thinks he has a window of time but all the witness she spoke to can testify to seeing Gideon they just can't place a time. She knows that Nathan's hotel is close by and that there was a kitchen fire. So as far as Grave's theory goes he could have had the opportunity however i don't think she was able to construct a whole block of time that he was missing. I could be wrong.

Corrine needs to be gone so fast. to be honest i don't think Gideon led her on as much as we think. i think he was honest with her about them not getting back together. I think he would have sold her the friendship line, since she was going through a bad divorce. I think she is the one who just assumed once they starting spending time together that he would fall for her. I agree that in the past he should have been upfront with her. But this time around i think she knows exactly what the score is but she's i denial. Thats why she keeps trying to attack Eva, so she will walk away and then Corrine can pick up the pieces!

I am definitely hoping for some fun times for Gideon and Eva in this book. They need to enjoy each other without the drama.

Wow, i wasn't gone that long....but i had to read 3 pages of comments. lol Just want to say all you ladies rock! I'm so glad i can come on here and have people who as into this story as i am! I agree it is going to take Eva some time to emotionally trust Gideon again. However, i think they will work through this and everything else because they can't live without one another. They are truly soul mates, who need to learn how to trust one another.

It will be a difficult journey but i really believe that these two are made for each other. And as long as the have the other they will be able to work through their problems. They just need to work on communication.

I really wish i had the whole book. I am so excited to read the rest of this. It's going to be a long month!

Absolutely agree! Eva stated that if this woman was going to try and go after Gideon she was going to cut her off at the pass. Kick some A$$ Girl! She's not going to let anyone mess with her man anymore.

This is a very good possibility. I can see Lucas wanting revenge for the affair Gideon had with his wife. It cracks me up how everyone thinks that Corrine is the one for him. If only they used there eyes... they would see how he looks at Eva.

I dont think Gideon will be using Corrine as his alibi any more. It didn't really work.

She definitely linked Eva to Brett however i don't think she knows anything about Nathan. I think this is gossip she is after.
