I wish GR would make her take down the review. They micromanage everyone else on there with their pictures and stuff. Plus she's moaning that people are complaining about the review. I thought if it more as a rant and a spoiler not so much a review, but that's just my opinion of course.

I can imagine this being plausible. The thing that struck me as I read this LN is when Eva confronted Elizabeth she said Christopher was her son too and he said nothing happened. Why would Christopher say that? Has Christopher always held this grudge against Gideon? Was Christopher protecting Gideon's attacker? If so why?

 I am. It's significant to me also. If she wanted to talk about that she certainly should have hidden the spoiler, it is easy enough to do. I don't really mind spoilers, but I do think it changes the feel of a book when you know what is going to happen. I do a ton of content editing, and I always ask that the author not tell me where the story is going for that reason. I want to go on the journey. You'll have to be my GR friend insideofclouds.

I took issue with the one major spoiler. We might have theories based on the snippets, picture posts, and snapshots, but they are theories. To spoil the book for people not wanting to know, is just not right. Plus while it might take a little bit of thought she could have posted a spoiler free review. Aria did.

I have and I'm thinking they need to hide the spoilers. I don't mind reading a spoiler, but some people do.

He is really emotionally clueless.

This chapter is so difficult to get through. I hurt for both of them. I am really hoping that in EWY we get more happier moments. The majority of this book was so dark.

Second picture if medication. Thoughts?

 While reading all of these scene again, I can't help but wonder how Eva ever trusts him "emotionally" again. I know she loves him, but for me an emotional betrayal, is much harder to get over.

 I listened to this whole part last night thinking the exact same thing Julie. Him showing up that Wednesday was awful. I literally felt used on Eva's behalf. Even listening to Eva in the elevator a few chapters further on as Gideon is returning her promise ring, and she is talking about him just f*cking her, and blowing his load. It was awful. Thinking about her past with Nathan, and then listening to her words, it became overwhelming.  Yes after reading the whole book you certainly understand everything more, but it doesn't erase how awful some of these scenes are.Â

 Sorry LN, I was just excited that you were on the right track. Writing a book review without giving away any spoilers is so difficult although I do try to do it.

Well some of that comment confirms some of LN's thoughts.

I did love that jack sh*t line jmhope. Just reading it back put a huge smile on my face.

I'm still back and forth on Monica not being a fit parent to Eva in her teens, but I sure as think Victor deserves better. I know she's Eva's mom, but I don't have much respect for her.
