The fault doesn't lay with the people getting the books early, the fault lays with the companies putting the books out early. It is so disrespectful to not only the loyal fans but to the other establishments who are honouring the release date. Â

Hi Kirsten, I just love it when people write reviews on books that they never finish...sigh! Yes that comment was dripping with sarcasm. I think that is insulting not only to the author but to the other readers as well. If you want to play you have to pay...as the saying goes.

Hi Kirsten, Your bookstore shouldn't have put the book on the shelves at all. It is seriously unkind to the customer..."you can look, but you can't touch...". I have to say that I am disappointed that some of the stores have been releasing the books early. It really is unfair to the rest of the loyal readers. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for those who got their hands on the books early, it is just frustrating for the rest of us who have had to wait.Â

 Hi Shycharn, How long do you think we will have to wait until the next book? Somehow I highly doubt that we will see anything until next year. I hope and pray that we see the next installment before the end of the year, but everything relating to the latest release was handled so poorly, that I can't see everything improving magically in the next few months. What do you think?

  Hi Sccrph, You have to go to the members section and you can click on the person you want to send a message to and send your message. You can also go to your own profile and send a message through there. I think that there is a section that says messages and such. You can click on that and then type in the person you want to message.   You can then type your message. I hope that helps.  GiGi

Hi Sscrph, I liked the fact that some of the supporting characters were not explored a lot. I think that the entire premise of this book was strictly Christian and Anastasia. Everyone else simply wasn't all that important. It is almost as if these two got lost in one another and no one else in the world seemed to matter as much. Just a thought...

Hi Sscrph, I have to say that I really liked her books. I really didn't have anything negative to say about the series. I took it as a light summer fluff read. I know that she is no Charlotte Bronte, but in my opinion she did a fine job. I really didn't pay much attention to all of the hype so it was very easy for me to get into the books.

Hi Kirsten, If the publishers are smart, they will clue in, if not then they will lose more readers and that will surely affect their profits. Time will tell. It is never such a good idea to play politics with fans when they are awaiting the release of their favourite series. It could ultimately backfire on the publishers...sigh!

 Hi Sheens, I was just wondering are your from Europe? I know that being a Canadian, I could understand her writing because our English is Queen's English or British English. I think that for those readers in North America, they may not have understood her references as readily.  Thank you for your explanation. It was greatly appreciated and it helps me to understand your perspective more. Hi Lorna333, Sylvia Day addressed this on one of her forums; she stated that stain on Gideon's cuff was blood and not lipstick. That blood stain most likely came from Nathan's mouth when Gideon and Nathan got into a fight in Gideon's office. The couch and the pillow got messed up during the fight.  I hope that helps you.  I haven't seen you before so welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy yourself.Â

 Hi Chenolyn, Could you just imagine having to do a dissertation on one of the books or a presentation on one of the chapters from one of the books? The thought of having to write more papers, makes my eyes want to pop out of my head. Sigh!

 Hi Gabri, I hope that your book gets to you sooner rather than later. I know that the mail system can be a little slow but I am hoping for you that you will receive your book at your local bookstore faster. Try not to worry so much about catching up. I read like a turtle and by the time you have gotten your book and finish reading it, I may be done reading my copy. Sigh!

Hi Everyone,  I have been reading the postings about what happened in the limo and I don’t think that this scene had anything to do with BDSM at all. I think that Gideon was using s** as a punishment, pure and simple. He used each and every single one of Eva’s insecurities against her in the hopes that he would be able to extract the information that he wanted out of her.  In total and utter desperation, Eva complied with Gideon’s demands; because she was afraid of losing Gideon because of what she did. Not one single solitary thing that transpired during that entire scene would comply with BDSM rules or the BDSM scene. When people engage in the BDSM lifestyle; it is about two consenting adults deriving mutual pleasure from one another within established parameters. When lovers fight they are not to engage in these acts because that violates the spirit of the BDSM lifestyle.  Gideon crossed each and every single line with Eva!! He violated the spirit of their contract (in that Eva’s body was his to pleasure and such, but not to degrade when he was that upset with her). One is NOT to engage in a BDSM scene when a serious fight has just occurred. Each party needs to work out the issue before they progress.  There were a million healthy ways that both Gideon and Eva could have addressed the issue, but neither of them stopped to think. Gideon played the silent routine and Eva played the use my body so I can get info from you. I found nothing romantic about that scene what-so-ever. The outcome wasn’t healthy either.Â

Hi Insideofclouds, It is funny, when I was living in Italy, I always said c'e veidamo. I think that what you and the others often said was the plural form whereas I used the singular form.  "A domani" was/is often used when someone sees someone else on a regular or daily basis. Or I have also heard the term " A doppo" which means until later (far more casual expression).
