  1. I can hardly wait until tomorrow. There is a lot discuss!
  2.  Hi Sscrph, I just saw the same thing. I was thinking about all of the ladies on the forum and I wondered how many of them saw the show. I am sure he did all of the fans proud.  If the ladies want, I am sure that interview can be found online. NBC seems to be really good about video archiving its interviews.
  3. Hi Golfergirl, You are too hillarious!! I bet there will be oodles of people asking about the release dates...you can count on it!!
  4. It is totally frustrating when people chyme in with opinions when they haven't even read the books. They use the excuse that they just "skimmed" the books. It boggles my mind. Sigh!!
  5.  I really hope people are reading these postings from the beginning, if not I swear people might mistake that forum members are recreating steamy novelllas here...(just kidding).
  6. Hi Peachies, You make a good point. I wonder if it is them not losing themselves or them truly finding themselves? Do you know what I mean?Â
  7. HI Sheens263, I saw the lovely photos that you posted. If you look at the photo where he is wearing a brown shirt his eyes look brown! Does the man have interchangable eyeballs or what (just kidding)?  See I don't need to get my eyes checked (just kidding again)...Â
  8. Hi Everyone, OMW!!!! I am going to lose my freaking mind!!! I just finished yet another posting and I lost that one too!!!! AHHHHH!!!!! I have steam lolling out of my ears and my nostrils!!!! It is a serious big ugly over here…..  Anyway, I read Chapter One postings from EWY and I noticed that a lot of the postings were delightful suppositions and speculations based on the previous books and not one the book at hand. What would everyone say to start from the beginning now that we have all had a chance to read the third book in its entirety? Let me know?  I also noticed that a “Spoiler Thread†has been started and I am not sure that is necessary yet. Sylvia hasn’t even finished writing the book, let alone sent it to the publishers, so how can we have spoilers without something concrete to refer to? What does everyone think? Let me know. Thanks in advance.
  9. Hi KBisMe, Easy now sister! I hope you are ok.  Just make sure that your fingers are ok for tomorrow (I am saying that in jest)! Just take care of yourself lady.
  10. Hi KBisMe, Easy now sister! I hope you are ok.  Just make sure that your fingers are ok for tomorrow (I am saying that in jest)! Just take care of yourself lady.
  11. Lady, you make me smile!Â
  12.  Hi Julie, What is so funny about those comments is that these books were a great summer read. Yes some of the material was intense, but all the naughty bits more than made up for some really tough subjects. If anything, the subject matter is resolving itself and these two characters are growing together.  Oh well, what a shame for them. They are going to miss out on some great reading!
  13.  HI KBisMe, Welcome to the forum! We haven't met before. I hope you enjoy yourself!  In response to your comments I agree with you completely. I sometimes wonder whether people feel like they are standing in front of firing squads if they have to read yet another book in a series (I am absolutey KIDDING here). I think that is the only thing that would make sense to me (kidding again).  I really liked Sylvia's previous short novella "All Revved Up" of which there is supposed to be another one coming out soon (fingers crossed, wink, wink).  I also really liked some of her short stories. Apparently she is supposed to be coming out with a new series "Afterburn" and "Aftershock" but I am not sure when those are coming out. Have you tried Fifty Shades of Grey? EL James is a lovely author and her writing kept me engaged for all three books. Other than that I would have to ask; which types are you interested in?  Right now I am reading "The Optimist's Daughter" by Eudora Welty (not bad).   I tried to get into Sylvia Plath's "The Bell Jar" but after starting it I wanted to stick my head in an oven (ok, ok, really bad bun here, just kidding). I think I will have to save that book for another rainy gloomy day.  I also finished Fyodor Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment" (now that was a dude who had some serious issues!). Let me know and I will do my best to try and recommend a great read and if not a great read then a fun summer read.    Â
  14. Good morning blessed Julie, I have to say, I was taken aback by all the hatred and hostility. Personally I really liked the books and can hardly wait until the next books finally come out. I swear I felt like it was Christmas morning when Sylvia announced that she was going to be writing another two books in the series.  I sometimes think that people who write such incredibly hateful things have other issues going on in their lives then on a single book. I made a huge faux pas by reading the reviews. I never do! Oh well, you live and you learn. I will never do that again!
  15.  Ok Kirsten, I have to ask; where on earth do you find all these smiley, winky, cutesy, cuddle-type, moving icons? Holy cow, I must be living under a rock or something. I wouldn't even know where to begin looking for this kind of stuff. Spill the details sister....
  16. Hi Aimee, Welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy yourself!Â
  17. Welcome Readingrrl! I hope you enjoy yourself!
  18. Hi Julie, I agree! Cheers to Sylvia! May your next book be even better than the last! All my blessings!  GiGi
  19. Hi Nathalia, Thanks for posting those comments. It is all good.
  20. Hi MrsCrossfire, I don't think that person is a hater. I just think that he or she is frustrated and quite frankly they are more than entitled to be annoyed. Now I think that many people don't realize that they have far more power than they think. That person could have picked up the phone or written a letter to the publishers to let them know how frustrating or upsetting it was to have to deal with constant delays. They also could have expressed that their buying power would no longer be spent supporting Penguin Publishers, etc.  At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their own opinion (good or bad), but maybe it is better to just ignore the not so nice reviews or better yet, just toss them into the discard pile....right along with all those reviews from people who never bothered to finish the book before they made comments. Do you know what I mean?Â
  21.  I find that if I read from a computer for long enough, I can get headaches or sometimes feel  nauseous. I think it is precursor for migranes. Well that's ok, I enjoy a good book.Â
  22. Â Sweet dreams Julie!Â
  23.  Hi Kirsten, It has been a very long May and I am now looking forward to June. Thank you for asking. I actually am looking forward to hearing Sylvia's thoughts and ideas (if she would like to share...) if she happens to join in with us, but I guess only time will tell. I think that we are all in limbo until then.  When I spoke with rep from Penguin Publishers, it was like they were lost in space. They had no idea about Sylvia's website or about the fact that several retailers had released the book early. I find it very hard to believe that whomever was filling that position and speaking with me, would have no idea about who the author is and what she is all about. Isn't that supposed to be part of their job description? I don't know how many best selling books come out on the same day so I just found the entire interaction odd...
  24.  Maybe you could suggest this website. It might provide a little inspiration for her. You could also dangle the "carrot" of the big chat on Friday morning...Â
