Hi Peachies, I think that Cary will temper his hurt with his concern for Eva and her relationship with Gideon. Cary has seen Gideon's nightmares first hand and the effect that it has had on Eva. I think that if anything he will be more worried for her personal safety than feel slighted about not having been invited to a surprise personal wedding. What do you think? What does everyone think?

The sooner the better I say...  The Plaza Hotel or the Waldorf Astoria Hotel both have fabulous reception sites....so does Tavern on the Green...oh so many choices...now where is the groom?Â

Hi Sscrph, Gideon treated Deanna like a "booty call" which is exactly what she was given the circumstances. Perhaps she was put off by the fact that his apathetic actions reminded her of this.  Could it be that once Deanna got the green light for the booty call from Gideon she was already started planning her wedding and picking out nursery furniture for the potential "future Cross" offspring? Imagine Deanna's shock and horror in being dismissed so quickly...Surely Deanna must have been trying her se*ual best with Gideon...only to find out that she didn't "do" it for him and that she was be dismissed without the big "O".  The big question is; is Deanna holding on to this hurt because of the way that she was spoken to or because of some foolish thought that if she managed to bag the Big, Bad, Gideon in bed (which she didn't), that would mean that she would get the keys to the Cross Kingdom...so to speak? What do you think? What does everyone think?

Hi Dgcaffeine, You make many valid points. What you describe sounds like a woman who had a long-standing relationship with someone and not a woman who met a man at a social gathering and agreed to a "quickie/one-night stand/booty call" etc. Wasn't it Shakespeare who penned the play; "Much Ado About Nothing"? Oh please let the time pass quickly so we can get the next book in our hands...sigh!Â

Hi Sscrph, I was thinking about what you said and I was thinking about the situation from the perspective of Deanna not being treated as a guest, but as an employee of sorts. She isn't there to hob-knob with the guests, she is there to get the photos and the exclusive on the wedding.  I personally wouldn't have given Deanna the time of day, but for whatever reason Gideon decided to give Deanna the exclusive. I wish I was privy to what exactly was said between the two of them. I had stated in the past that; although a se* tape would be embarrassing and uncomfortable for Eva, it wouldn't be the end of the world for either Gideon or Eva. My point of reference for this position is looking at socialites, royalty and hollywood stars. Both Gideon and Eva would have the capacity and capability to overcome such a video.  As far as the whole Deanna/Gideon thing, I don't know whether Eva would be upset by Deanna's presence at the wedding. As a woman, I would have been more upset with my husband/fiance (wink, wink) for ever agreeing to have anything to do with Deanna to begin with. What the heck did Deanna say to Gideon, to get him to give her the exclusive? Eva didn't knowingly make a se* tape with Brett and as such I would have let the ball roll and let Deanna hang herself with her "huge expose" about that se* tape. In the end, I believe that it would have backfired on Deanna and she would have lost professional credibility.  I know that what I have just written may make people balk and that what I have stated would be an extremely difficult road to walk, but I cannot accept blackmail....period!! By agreeing to some blackmailer's demands; I would make myself a victim again. I would rather face the "music" (so to speak) and tell my side of the story than to ever agree to being openly victimized by someone. Once you agree to be blackmailed, the person who is blackmailing you will never stop. There is no end. What do you think? What does everyone think?
