Hi GLH, I read your posting and you make some really interesting points about the workings of relationships. Thus far, it doesn't appear that Gideon and Eva are into a BDSM relationship. It seems that Gideon and Eva are learning to become fully and openly expressive with their bodies (se*ually) and also in the trusting of their bodies with one another. Isn't that what a relationship is supposed to be about?  Your saying about men and the show is very similar to what many European women say. "The man is the head of the household and the woman is the neck. She can turn the "head" any-which-way she wants."Â

Hi Sue, I agree with your ideas about Cary. He needs to end his relationships with both; Trey and Tatiana. Neither of those relationships are healthy on principle.  I wonder how much of a role Deanna will play in the next book. Will she just be a little blurb, mentioned in passing about how she "brokered the scoop of the century...getting the exclusive first public photos of Gideon and Eva", or is there something more at play here?  I have always liked the idea of Eva taking self defense classes, but the question is; who will she use her newly acquired skills on?  I don't even know what to think about the whole Russian Mafia thing...hmm?

It is so interesting that you posted a picture of CH today. Last night I had the image of CH in Sons of Anarchy. I had a dream where he was picking his teeth with some huge switch blade knife (howling with laughter ). I think that I have been overthinking this entire thing...now I really have to laugh.Â

Hi GLH, I read your posting and I was thinking along the same lines. I read the Christian Grey character as being refined, sophisticated and fluent in; French, art, and literature.  It is interesting; I actually thought that Charlie Hunnam was a little lanky as compared to the Christian Grey character. It was my understanding that the CG character was tall, long, and lean, with well defined muscles. I also didn't get an extended look at Charlie Hunnam, but who knows, it might work out. Muscles can be added, subtracted or defined more clearly...   GiGi  P.S. Keep the faith. You never know, we might get the biggest surprise of our lives and find out the HC has been offered, and accepted the role of Gideon Cross.Â

Hi Sharon, You are absolutely correct, Charlie Hunnam can play a dark and dangerous character. What I wonder about is whether he will be able to also play a very sophisticated and refined character. I think that is what I struggle with more. I just can't see him speak French fluently, or having extensive knowledge about art, music, literature, etc. Time will tell...

Great ideas Avid Reader! I had to go back and reread the part about Monica "potentially" trying to keep Gideon and Eva apart prior to the wedding (wink, wink)!  Sylvia certainly has a lot of loose ends to tie up before the end of the series...sigh! How many more months until the end of the year?Â

Hi GLH, You said it perfectly; I am interested in a "one couple" romance. Thank you for your suggestions.   I can hardly wait to start reading! Right now I am in the middle of Jane's Melody (thank you Sheens for your suggestion ). It is a good story. I had Maya Banks KGI Series and that was really good (thank you Sharon )!  Although BDSM isn't my cup of tea, I don't have a problem with the concept of it per say. What I have had a problem with is how some of the authors have incorporated this into their story. Many of the BDSM scenes and sex acts have been written really irresponsibly (i.e. the sex acts would do actual physical damage to a woman's body if performed the way described).  I worry about the young person, who might pick up a book like that, and think that is the way that "sexual act" is supposed to go.  That is why I like Sylvia's writing. She writes the love scenes/sex acts, between her characters in a really responsibly manner. Anyway, back to the topic at hand, thanks again for your suggestions.Â

Hi Sharon/Ladies, I have be wondering if we will be tentatively adding Dr. Travis on the Kill Off a Character List because the question has been posed on a few occasions. He was one of the characters mentioned in the books, and members have asked whether he should be included in the game or not?  Sharon, do you think that it would be ok to add Dr. Travis late in the game, or do you think that he shouldn't be included at all because of his mention and not actual interaction with the characters? Your guidance with this is greatly appreciated. I am not surprised by the news that lesser known actors were selected for these roles. I will have to wait and see what will happen. The actor who was cast for the Christian Grey role, looks positively scary! I don't know if I can see him as Christian Grey. In the end, it will depend on how good his acting skills are and whether he will be able to convince me that he is Christian Grey.  At the end of the day, that still leaves room for the beloved HC, to fill the role of Gideon Cross.Â
