I saw this on the E-News Newletter this morning.  She could very easily be our Ava, little curvy and sassy.  

I'm having a hard time reading my notes.  I should have transcribed them when I returned to the hotel on Friday but I went out with a couple ladies and had a few drinks in downtown Kissimmee.  As often as I go to Orlando/Kissimmee I've never been downtown.  Some interesting little bars & restaurants. 

 

Sylvia talked about the problems with the release of Entwined and how bad she felt about that.  She said that will never happen again.  Apparently the publisher was trying to appease the vendors many were upset because the prior books were released in the e-version first.  Vendors were unhappy because they felt they lost a lot of paper sales.  The publisher thought changing the date to June would make the vendors happy because June is a slow month for books.  What actually happened was Walmart cancelled their order and Target reduced the order for Entwined.  She said they had to eat crow because the book is so popular Target sold out and had to reorder and Walmart had to get books on their shelves because fans were asking for them.   

LOL   first time I've heard Kissimmee described as interesting or were you saying interesting (?).

I seem to be assuming the Defender of Brett role - which is funny because he's not my type at all.

Here we go: I don't think he was responsible for the tape. I think the line is either Sam-CV-Deanna or Sam-Deanna-CV.

I think he's honestly convinced himself that he's in love with Eva. And for what ever reasons, and I know there are excuses because of prior history, he is being jerked around by Eva. The messages and signals she has been giving him are mixed, to say the least.

As for his filthy mouth, I'm not sure that wishing he could be inside Eva again and reminding her of some enjoyable sexual encounters, is that out of line. As far as he remembers Eva really enjoyed what they did and that probably included sex talk. And she certainly enjoys blunt and "dirty" talk with Gideon.

Did Brett walk up to Eva, without even knowing her, mind you, and say, "Are you sleeping with anyone at the moment? I want to fu ck you and I'd like to know if there's anyone in the way." And "I don't want to date you, but I've got a whole lots of ways I can make you come." If anyone was in needed a bar of soap...

But if I had Gideon and a bar of soap - that's not what I'd be doing. Sigh...

I think we should give poor Brett a break. He's lost Eva and all he has left to comfort him is rock stardom, hordes of sexy groupies, world travel, and lots of money.

I guess he'll survive without my advocacy.

I doubt the CV is involved in Sam's and Brett' eyes he is the boss as much as G.  And outside a few people I don't think anyone knows of the conflict between G and CV  so couldn't play to that.

 

Brett or some band member referred to Eva as Brett's muse.  So I'm thinking it's not so much 'love' he feels its he thinks she will inspire more songs for the band !

I read your post and it looks like we are back at square one; who would leak and why.  You make a good point about Sam being a potential suspect; he stands to gain the most but he also stands to lose the most as well.

 

You make another good point about the “anonymous†tipoff.  Do journalists pay people for stories like this?  I know that in this instant someone wouldn’t receive monetary compensation for this kind of information if said person gave information anonymously, it was just a question I had.

 

Now as for the Corinne thing, who knows?  I think that is the big question we all have.  We don’t have enough information to say one way or another conclusively. Did she or did she not know she was pregnant? 

 

Even if Corinne did know she was pregnant, a person who would take drugs in a suicide attempt doesn’t sound like a person who would have their mental faculties.  If I am not mistaken, most women are downright protective if not slightly paranoid about taking anything during a pregnancy.  They wouldn’t take an aspirin let alone anything else for fear of harming the unborn baby.  Again, I could be wrong about this, I am using my friends and family as my gauge.  What do you think?

Think about this - Sam could have been the tipper to Deanna  (Brett met her @ Eva's lobby) and Brett could have told him to tip her off knowing she was doing a bash story on G.  Enter Brett to comfort our girl when G breaks it off again !

 

But no one could have forseen that G would charm Deanna with his 'apology' and she would tell him about the tape before it hit the internet.  That gave him the small window of time to get to Calif and get the injunction to stop it.  

 

Yea see your point on taking the meds unless the evil therapist told her they wouldn't hurt the baby !  And OMG if its Anne she probably thinks it G's baby and what better revenge than 'kill 2 birds with 1 stone'     sorry that's cruel

Chapter 5 - Eva specaking to her Dad while she is in Vegas telling him that things with G are serious.  Then it goes on to say about her Dad finding Dr Travis to help her with her self-destructive behavior.   

 

"He (Dad) especially had trouble with a lead singer for whom I'd been little more than a groupie .... "

 

That being said I dont think Dad is going to happy that she is meeting Brett in SD.  Too bad G doesn't know he definitely wouldn't worry.  But then I think he will be SD too telling Dad they are married !!1

If I remember correctly the Golden video acted out the lyrics, it was a visual representation of the song. The fact that there was sex tape available of these activities is because the song is a true story.

Therefore I think we are being a bit quick to assume Brett knew about the sex tape or to say he must have because of the similarity between videos.

The song came first, then the music video - a visual representation of the lyrics, as they often are, then a sex tape using real footage as the song is based in fact. That doesn't make Brett guilty of anything except writing a song and making a music video. An insensitive music video yes, but Eva didn't seem to have a problem witj the whole world knowing her business through the lyrics of the song..

HI -  The timing between the music video and the s*e*x tape are too close to be a coincidence.  I'm sure Sam has hours of groupie videos so he would need to know ahead of time to look for Eva and then mix a video to match the music.  Eva was mad about the video, but more so because she was outted during the TV show.  I think that Brett is still immature enough not the realize how much control his record label has over his career.  He looking getting lots of publicity and Eva back too.

I'm gonna say no to Brett as the leaker - needs to have plausible deniability.  Sam is my #1 choice but as an anonymous tip, no blow back to the band itself.  JR may have been tipped off too, the real big $$$$ is G.  Of course that doesn't mean that if JR has knowledge he won't use against G for his own (and maybe Mom's) personal reasons.  

 

Another subject ....  Still think Corrine knew she was pregnant & that's why she left JFG and that she never thought the 'suicide' attempt would harm the baby. At 4 mos I think she is out of time to try to pawn this off as G's baby but can still destroy the relationship between G & E and then get him back.  No one understands the bond between G & E but they will as soon as the marriage is public.

Wow!  What a sinister theory!!  It is positively delicious!  It makes Brett look even worse than I could have imagined!  Your theory presupposes that Brett would have known that he and Eva were being videotaped....wowie zowie! 

 

If your theory is true, do you think Brett would be able to stop Sam from selling that tape and cashing in on it?  How would Brett stop Sam exactly?  Any thoughts or ideas?

The more I think about this the more I'm convinced Sam & Brett are behind this tape.  Brett for sure knew about the secret videos and he, the band, roadies and whoever else probably watched all tapes for entertainment and Sam is still with the band in some capacity so knew Brett found his Golden girl.  Guys use s*e*x tapes as references of resumes.   LOL

 

My top thought is that G will buy/pay off Sam to get the tape and also sign an ironclad NDA with major penalty if that tape ever shows up online. And while the band is on the rise now they probably still don't have lots of $$, so any pay-off might be split.  

 

Not sure that Brett will step into to stop - maybe be 'outraged' and attempt to comfort Eva (until she drops the wedding bells on him) he will thrive on the publicity.  

 

And so we are back to  -----   Who the F leaked the tape to Deanna ?   Sam ?      

What I wondered as well was that if Sam took all the concerts would Gideon and Eva's s e x encounter at the concert in NYC in Reflected now show up as well, another blackmail scene there 

Hard to tell if Sam is associated with the band now, but that is sure a possibility.

 

Don't think G & E at the concert would be as valuable as gettting a video of the fight.  Maybe not for backmailing but it sure validate Deanna's info even tho Brett denied it.   Adding fuel to the fire for her story bashing G.

I was thinking that after the fight Brett decided he wanted to break-up E & G and get her back if for nothing more that to make Golden an even bigger hit.  The bonus of course taking her away from his boss.   Sooooo

 

He knew Sam had all those secret videos of groupies from 'back in the day' and had Sam look for footage of Eva.  Then based the muisc video on the actual scenes with the idea that a s*e*x video would be leaked or sold as soon as the music hit the air.  

 

He thinks that G broke-up with E as a result of the kiss and that now they may be getting back together.  So the 'live' tape would totally destroy any chances of reconciling the two.  And then he would be there to console Eva.    Hope that helps explain what I was trying to express.  

On page 337 when Gideon is telling Eva about the s e x tape Gideon says, "he apparently set up remote cameras at some of the band's shows to gather backstage material. He claims to have re-created the Golden video with actual explicit footage."

Hope this clears up the question of when he made the tape and how he got the s e x on tape. Sleazy, slimy, Sam. I hope when Brett finds out what Sam had been doing he beats the sh*t out of him. In addition to being pis*ed off about having been spied on, he'd have to figure it would have queered any chance he had with Eva.

A couple of thoughts ......

 

Sam probably filmed lots of groupie encounters.  No way to know that there would be a song based on Brett and Eva.  

 

But more important doesn't it seem odd that the music video comes out and week later the video of live of B & E with the exact same scenes pops up.  So it seems to me that Sam found footage with Eva after the meeting in NYC and then got together with

Brett and they came with the R-Rated music video and then the XXX-Rated tape to cash in when Sam sells it.  

 

But no one takes into account that Gideon and Eva are back together, let alone married !

I don't think Lizard would ever miss Gideon's wedding ...that is ; if she's invited !!! LOL

There's always the chance that Gideon will have confronted his Mom as Eva has wanted and they have mended thier riff in time for a HEA grand bash wedding.  And since we know the next books will be address Gideon's issues there is the likelyhood that all the drama will be resolved in time for the wedding.

Saw Man of Steel today - OMG the close-up shots of our man take your breath away.  And even tho Amy Adams is a redhead but with help couuld be blond there is a scene when he is on his knees and she comforts him and it is totally Gideon and Eva.
