Seriously, I can see more women coming out of the woodwork. Who knows how many other members of the Dumped By Gideon Sisterhood that Deanna has been rabble-rousing. Eva knows for certain just two others besides herself: Magdalene (because Maggie told Eva herself) and Corrine (Gideon told Eva that Deanna paid Corrine a visit the night of Times Square.) I'll bet Deanna has been working her way down a list. And Gideon might know, too, about who else Deanna has been hitting up for dirt. Women that Eva never have even heard about, much less met. Yet.

HI ....  Gideon hasn't slept w/Magdalene, she more a 'wanna be girl' than a dumped one.  She has always been his go-to girl for dates and just a friend.  In fact when she confronts Eva in the ladies room in Bared, she even admits to not sleeping with him.

HI,only one book for both, but Sylvia did add an epilogue on Stanger.  It was a separate free item but it is probably included in the new releases.     If you haven't seen it here or Sylvia's site, Bare to You was inspired by 7 Years (red dresses  LOL) .

Your right but she only knew that Eva's step brother was dead.  It would take more time for Chris to investigate and get the bracelet.  The bracelet was missing from Nathans wrist when Graves came to Eva's house.  Whoever took the bracelet got it to plant before the body was found and before Ireland knew anything too.

Ireland knows. She was there when the cops came to talk about Nathan.she could have innocently let it slip to Chris jnr.

That is true she heard the NYPD question E & G about knowing Nathan, but whoever took that bracelet took immediately after G stabbed him - way before the body was found.  If CV Jr was curious enough he might look into the matter further, but think he would need an insider in NYPD to have access to any details from Nathan's past.

Michael dated Lacey 1st who has no connection to E & G at all.  And there is nothing to indicate Megumi has anything on value info wise about E & G that would benefit CV Jr.   

 

I do think there is a problem w Megumi, maybe if she was abused (which I think we all suspect it) Eva will help her recover and pull her into what foundation she sets up with her hush money.

I am counting the days until I get my hands on the hard copy of Aftershock.  I will have to read very quickly (which is an oxymoron considering that I read like a turtle), but I will do my best to catch up with you and the other ladies.

I mostly agree with you. To me, this issue is on Clancy and his brother, as he does´t consider Eva just a job. Eva was being tracked, so he knew she was at Dr. Petersen's and on the while maybe he was on survelliance mode over Nathan, saw Gideon, later checked and took the bracelet & photos to his brother (or something similar).

 

I was just having fun with Betty's twist, and as it includes Chris Vidal, from Vidal Records, it reminded me The Beatles old song "Twist and Shout" and so I named her twist... as a song related to a records label.

Agree about Clancy - I consider Clancy part of the Monica/Staton connection 

That is my absolute favorite scene of EWY. I have read it numerous times. It is so intimate, passionate and riveting. It's GidEva at their obsessed best. Sylvia outdid herself on that scene and many others of course but that one is special. That's why you can't get the books out of your head!! .

She also gave Jax some pretty romantic words in Aftershock.

From all the information we have in the 3 books so far, no one in Vidal family knows of Nathan or Eva's past.  So whoever has the bracelet is tied to Eva/Gideon/Monica/Stanton and did it to protect Gideon & Eva's future.  

Hugh's son was only 2 when Gideon confronted him. This was after Gideon was already established so at the very least Gideon maybe was 23 or 24 , that would put the child only about 7 or 8 yrs old.

Let me just throw this into the mix ........

 

Do we think that Anne now knows what her brother did to Gideon??  I think her anger is strickly based on being dumped.

 

Does anyone thnk Anne or Dr Terry know that Gideon found Hugh and threatened him?  

 

Did Dr Terry confront Hugh after the exam ?  and then would Hugh tell Dr T that Gideon figured out reason for the lies ??

 

We know that Dr Terry knew, but only because Elizabeth went to him for the exam and that he lied to 'protect' Anne and in doing so also protected Hugh - but since he is a kids Dr, how did/does he rationalize allowing an abuser to continually treat kids and abuse them.  It appears he (and Anne) supports all the abuse based charities and is respected in his field.  So lots of contradictions in their live beyond the affair.

 

In regard to Hugh's son, other than Gideon's own guilt over another child damaged by suicide, I don't see any connection.  At this point the secret of Hugh's actions are dead and buried.

Hello ladies, I saw a comment someone made on Sylvias facebook that both book 4and5 are done, that she is just waiting for the release dates from her publisher, did anybody else hear this??

I had heard her say that in one of the interviews   They were in the editing and final productions phase and the publisher decides the release date and since they moved the date on #3 a couple of times thats why she isn't saying anything til it if firm.  BUT it would be nice to get some tasty tidbits

I agree with you about people holding grudges with Gideon.  It doesn't make sense.  You are correct; Gideon was a child and was in no way responsible for his father's actions. 

It could be that these people think that Gideon's business was started with money that his Dad had stashed away from his fraud activity.  Ire;and's boyfriend's parent's comment "its convenient that Gideon is rich now" .... and just rich but super-mega-rich !

Yes, I really like the idea of Ireland going along and bonding with both Eva and Cary.  Eva did promise her a trip shopping during the dinner with dad.  Plus Ireland was so pushing to get Eva and Gideon back together during the 'video debut' reconnection of Eva and Gideon.  I can totally see her as a bridesmaid.  And Shawna also.  Maybe even Megumi if she is OK. 

 

Now the question, is Cary going to be the Man of Honor?  I am guessing yes, even though that may be an issue with Monica.  I know she loves Cary, but she is also very traditional from what I have seen and may have an issue with this.  What do you think?

It's possible that Cary wil be Gideon's Best Man - who else does he have (other than Angus)

I DON'T want Eva to be take by the Russian Marfa!!! Gideon has mentioned several times that he would always find her. Eva has learnt how to fight in her Krav Maga classes. This could develop into something. These thoughts concern me a lot.

Agree on both counts.  I doubt we will get HC but with Sylvia and us having the same vision, if not Henry then maybe someone close.

 

CG has got to come off as sophisticated and refined or the character would not work.  He may be kinky but he is not edgy.  There is a huge difference and that is what Charlie has to pull off.  From what I am reading, he is a good actor but can he pull off the class?  I don't know as I have never seen his work.  The new picture is much, much better.  The big problem is that they waited a full 2 years before casting him.  2 years for people to read and reread and form a definite image of who CG is.  I hope that Lionsgate does not make the same mistake with Gideon.

Saw some additional pic of Charlie looking much closer to a CG personna.  One even had him with darker hair and close in on his eyes which are close to gray.  Think he will clean-up nicely and if there is 'magic' with Dakota then they will able to pull this off.  Don't forget that no one liked Robert as Edward but on screen with Kristen they were perfect for the parts.   We'll see next year

I have a question for anyone who has read  Maya Bank's Rush, Fever and Burn.  Does Fever(Jase) and Burn(Ash) involve BDSM like Rush does? 

Fever and Burn and not as much as Rush, but they do have some that are part of story.  Since from the 1st book it is pretty clear that all 3 guys have intense s.e.x life

Well, Henry was not cast as CG.  What do you ladies think of the guy who was cast?  I know absolutely nothing about him other than I looked him up on Wikipedia and I couldn't believe that was who was cast.  ANYONE?

HI, I saw that too.  The guy is gonna need an extreme makeover to be CG, 'Ana' looks like ok (she's Don Johnson & Melanie Griffith daughter)   So wait and see how it goes
