I want to hear the ###### TAPE.   I think that Victor knows how much Eva loves Gideon, and Gideon probably explained the whole situation in an acceptable way. I don't think Gideon told Victor he killed Nathan, but I do think that Victor is a smart guy, so he probably got a better read on the situation when talking to Gideon, and could tell how much he loves Eva.

When the cops showed up at the family dinner, Gideon admitted he knew Nathan.  Keeping that in mind, when he and Victor spoke he could have told him that after seeing the pics/videos he was unable to stay with Eva.  But after weeks apart he realized that Eva was his soulmate and he couldn't avoid those feelings any longer and wanted her back permanently.  Victor could understand those mixed feelings from Gideon and he did mention that he saw the 'connection' between them at dinner even tho things were strained. And we know the Gideon would have told him how much he loved her and would protect her always.   So maybe not that hard for him to agree to a marriage.    

How do we think Gideon should handle the situation with Corinne going forward? Should he visit her in the hospital? Cut off all contact and refuse to speak to her again?

Personally I think visiting her in hospital is another mixed message and she may believe (if her suicide attempt was to manipulate Gideon into coming back to her) that she has been successful. I think he should write her a letter making it quite clear that they are finished forever, explain to her how he feels about Eva. I dont think he should necessarily give it to her right away - maybe give it to her husband to pass on when he feels she is strong enough. But I think by not visiting her that should send a message in itself that he is done playing games and she needs to move on, deal with this mess she has created, without him.

I was thinking that Eva should told Corrine's husband that she & Gideon were married right up front.  That would remove any 'hope' that Corrine may have had they she could break them up.  By going with 'engaged' I agree that she used the OD to guilt Gideon into giving up Eva and returning to her.  I don't think he should see her alone again.  I am also thinking, Eva needs to sit Gideon down and tell him she believes that Corrine's OD was her last ditch effort to get him back, knowing that suicide would be a trigger for major guilt.  She tells him its not his fault but she needs to stress that Corrine did it on purpose - like the 2 attempts to get Eva to believe they were having sex - he still doesn't see Corrine's nasty side.  

I really enjoyed looking back at the chapter snapshots and then reading the chapters !  They were spot-on!  and all I can say is Chapter 19

OK  - I think I'm going to stop reading comments until the book is out and I have read it.  I've been trying fast forward over all the talk about the GR reviews but seem to find them all over.  Thought we were going to start a Entwined spoiler thread for any of those discussions,  It looks like it should be up and going now so it isn't spoiled for ALL of us who want to wait and read it.

Thanks for the heads up on the Raine Miller series, I got the 1st book today.  I read the 2 Gabriel book, good but not as 'hot' as Gideon and Eva.  It is an interesting storyline.  Enjoy !   Also Maya Banks ' Sweet' series very hot !!  6 books now, same group of people with each book spotlighting one of the them.

Obsessed, Possessed, addicted, anal, and overall just plain crazy for the these books

How about this .... Snapshot 11 looks like they are in London, then 12 could be hotel there and new 12 is them celebrating !

And with luggage tags on the cover looks they do travel - of course the 2nd one appears to have 'Cross' as the name sooo maybe a secret wedding has taken place (or does take place in London) .   

 

We know Eva already wears a Rolex from Monica/Stanton and if the new watch is hers it would be for fancy not everyday. But definitely looks like something G would give her

Peaches ........... I agree with you comment on the reporter and there was a snippet about ' there were other women before he knew she existed' .  So I think that Eva's 'spidey sense' will be accurate about her being an ex.

GiGi ...   In regard to Gideon maybe taking the ring off when he's with Corrine.

 

Chapter 17/RIY  when they are in the elevator and he gives her back her ring he says to her ......I never take it off. I won't. Ever.  

 

So I'm thinking he wears it even when he's with Corrine, if he explains its signifiance to her is another question.  We all sorta know that he has told her their reunion is only 'as friends' like Magdalene, a companion for social events only, no sex.  Cause even with his FP @ the hotel cleared out, I don't think he would a..cheat on Eva and b.. never have sex anywhere else, he never did before .

I hope any discussion with/about Corrine will include Gideon's explaining his new 'RING' to her.  I'm sure she noticed it knowing he doesn't wear any other jewelry.  

 

Also, I'm sure any police questioning confused her and wonder what she asked of Gideon after it was over.

 

So many questions to be answered, beginning to feel like Eva, LOL.  So guess will we start getting answers / insights on Tue with Chapter 1 and then just 4 weeks / 28 days until the whole book is released.   I hope Barnes & Nobles and Amazon's networks are ready to be overloaded on the 4th.

Thanks for all the great books.  They have kept me busy while I'm waiting.  

After reading the snipett, the first thing that popped into my head was that it was New Year's Eve -  why else would there be a Vidal Records tent w/security in Times Square.  And Brett could be the feature act on stage since he is the big thing in music right now ....  Then of course if it is NEY will she kiss Gideon @ midnight  !!!!

 

Also, thinking that unlike Eva being blinsided when Gideon started 'dating' Corrine again, Eva and Gideon would have discussed any interaction Eva might have with Brett, if for no other reason than to reassure Gideon on how much she loves him and that seeing Brett is only a ruse that she is a free/single women.  Also help to prevent any reoccurance of the fight.

 

So glad to see Ireland hanging out with Gideon and like others think they will great friends/sisters in the future.

I don't know of any other blondes mentioned other than Eva, which is why it is such a BIG thing with everyone from her own Mom to all his family.

 

and now the biggie - the all brunette dates' ... my theory is that it all comes back to his mother, he was neglected from his father's death (we don't know about her before), it just got worse when she remarried and had a whole new family  Once again ignoring his needs and then the worst - not believing or supporting him when he came to her about the abuse.  

 

I think in the car Eva finally understands his drive to succeed was his need to 'find his place in the world, to be more than an outsider'.  He admits the loves her (not the right word) and that with her he has a place in the world with her.  He told her once that he had been looking to her all his life, that one person in the world he could trust with his most private thoughts and secrets.  Someone who love him knowing all those details. 

In light of Det Graves discussion with Eva and then Gideon 'slient' confession to her, I think that he will continue 'dating' Corrine and we have seen in the snippets secretly meet Eva.  He needs to put a reasonable amount of time between being 'cleared' (if his is indeed cleared as Graves states) and any move to resume his life with Eva.

 

Sorry couldn't find where the discussion of him fleeing the country started, unless some overwhelming evidence comes out I don't

think will alter his daily business routine keeping to 'business as usual' as much as possible.
