    I loved Seven Years To Sin, too! Alistar and Jessica----agree--- a lot of similarities to Eva and Gideon! It was hard for me to put that book down, too!

    Favorite scene BTY page19:  "When the car reached the lobby, I almost moaned in relief. I waited impatiently as the elevator emptied, and the first chance I got, I took a step forward. His hand settled firmly at the small of my back and he walked out beside me, steering me. The sensation of his touch on such a vulnerable place rippled through me."  I don't know why, but I love this scene.  LOL

    On page 4 in BTU: " My mother refused to marry him (Victor), but he'd never wavered from his determination to be my dad in every way possible."  I wonder what "every way possible" means?  Ript: I felt that Eva grew up in California and when Monica married Stanton, Monica moved to NYC?? I felt that Monica married Stanton around the time Eva was going to college? I 'm trying to find out in BTY why I felt that---LOL

    I agree! I think that's what scared Gideon the most (if Nathan was arrested) and why he felt that he had to murder Nathan-- He would never again be a threat to Eva..

    Nathan was not disoriented But he did not have rational thinking because he was a obsessive sociopath (which is sick to me)

    Nathan was an obsessive sick man---I believe he didn't think rationally and is that stupid and would have gone back to Gideon for another round.

    I don't think that this series is romanticizing murder... In SD's book "Passion For The Game", the lead male character --Christopher-- kills someone...
