Hi llurvegc, I tried to locate the "Boss" series online at my bookstore in Toronto, couldn't find them. Are they available on e-books only or maybe not released in paperback form yet?

  Hi GLH, my sentments exactly. If a publisher & writer can't have a good honest relationship then I say screw'em. After this series I would say bye & nice knowing you. Sylvia is a very gifted writer with countless numbers of fans who have, by the way, made lots of money for this publisher. It is time to start treating Sylvia with courtesy & respect & stop delaying this series & every other book. Keep her informed as well as her devoted fans. I hope they are listening.

  Hi tbidwell, I wrote to Penguin to complain about the delays in the Crossfire series not Afterburn/Aftershock.(I saw this post & decided to mention it-I probably should have used another thread). Good for you for being relentless in your letter writing. I plan to do the same.This is definitely bad business and we shouldn't have to put up with it.

  Hi CatEyes, You're not the only one who is peeved. I deliberately did not read Afterburn thinking that it would take at least 6 months until the release of Aftershock. I'm so done with buying books in a series until all are released. The publishers need to read these posts. We are a good chunk of their business...they need to pay attention.

  Hi everyone, I was just reading info on the home page about the publishers Sylvia has used. She has been involved with 12 publishers. OMG! I can't believe that with all of Sylvia's success & loving readers they are still jerking around with "Crossfire" & "Afterburn/Aftershock" dates. If I have to begin a self-imposed embargo on all of these publishers, so be it. Time to write a few letters.

  Ridiculous is putting it mildly. It's like they're holding the book hostage!!! This is yet another reason why I will refuse to get involved in a "book series" (after book 4 & 5 are released), until all books have been published. Life is way too short (& chock-full) of a million books to read.

Hi GiGi, I actually don't read e-books or use a kindle-type device. Sorry. As I mentioned, if I'm on my computer past a certain hour in the evening I can't get to sleep. I read that the computer back light can cause this. So, I figured I would experience the same symptoms from a kindle...I love to read at night so I guess I will just continue to read books. If I hear of any apps I will be sure to let you know. Sorry I couldn't help you. P.S. re-reading this thread, I think it was Gaia who uses a kindle. I will keep you posted if I find some apps. Hi Hotreads & GLH, I think both of you have everything covered. Anything more will just crowd the books & I think we'll feel rushed & important issues will be incomplete. We don't want that. I hope Gideon's issues are dealt with in depth & also all of the other problems/distractions that GLH mentioned. That's enough to deal with. Oh...and of course we need room in the books for more hot sex!!!
