Hi Everyone, I just finished reading: South of Bixby Bridge. It is by Ryan Winfield. After reading that book, I think I have a better understanding of what it would be like to live in the time of Sodom & Gomorrah. The book was very intense and if the reader can stick with the storyline until the end, it will all make sense.  My heart broke for the characters. If anyone gets a chance, they might want to give this book a read. The material isn't light or fluffy, but very dark and intense. If you have the intestinal fortitude; give this book a read.  Thanks, GiGi

Hi Everyone, I was thinking about the whole Corinne having a bad reaction to her psychiatric meds, thing and I just wanted to clarify that if someone was having a bad reaction to their psychiatric medication (delusions, severe depression, psychosis, etc.) they could not just stop taking said medication. The sudden stopping of a medication could lead to severe suicidal thoughts or worse consequences or actions.  If a medication made someone crazy (i.e. severe psychological reactions to medication), the sudden stopping of a medication may take away some of the symptoms but may cause other more severe symptoms as a result of medication withdrawl.  A person would have to be in a hospital in order for the medication to be removed from his/her system quickly. If a situation was severe enough; a person could have the drugs flushed from their system, but again that would have to be done in a hospital setting and new, different medications would be prescribed, where doctors/psychiatrists could observe said patient, until he/she was stable enough to go home.  If Corinne was truly suffering from a severe medication reaction, there would have been no way that she would have just been able to stop taking her medications suddenly or without medical interventions. She would not have been mentally stable enough to do so.Â
