Honestly the spoiler was something that myself and alot of ppl guess at but she definitely needs to hide it she was plain rude with her so called review. She is a bit an a.sshole if you ask me to just so casually try and ruin the book for others just because she was disappointed. She didn't ruin it for me but I don't appreciate that she tried. Thank goodness for her safety she didn't spoiler who Gideon's abuser was.Because she would have had sh.itload of pi.ssed off SD fans hunt her down.

Is it that bad? I won't look. I read that very first one that the link was posted..but I won't read another until after I've read the book. I don't want it to be spoiled! Lol..That is just rude. Is it still up? Can't complaints be made to GoodReads? Aren't people supposed to type ***SPOILER*** or something before they actually wrte it?

He's def perfect, and Amber Heard too...I think she'll be sassy. Alex Pettyfer is good for Cary. AndI like Dave Franco for CVJ.

I'd say there are Marcus (Ask for it), Jasper (Pride and Pleasure) and Gerard (The Stranger I Married) to deal with as well!!!! I know these are "one -shot" novels but they are absolutely up to any expectations. lol

I haven't read any of those, but I did read Seven Years to Sin and Alistair was great

 

I see that Afterburn/Shock will be out together in paperback in Nov, but do we know if they will be together in ebook too? I guess it's a good value to order now while thye're less than $4 each ebook b/c paperback is $10 on Amazon. It looks good! I've decided that I really like SD...lol...her writing style is so great   

I wonder when she will release more info on the 4th Crossfire book...TItle, release date etc.

Getting the rest of the books and TV series/ movie out ASAP   I've become very impatient...lol   It's just sooo good!

We have sorted the music, the title of the next books, and picked Gideon and Eva, and the rest of the cast.

I think an engagement ring snapshot could be a possiblility...why not? We know it's going to happen...maybe if the ring is in a snapshot, it's not literal...just them talking about getting engaged/married in that chapter.?

 

I too think they'll be going back to NC...they did love it there...or yes, mabye the FL Keys like Gideon originally wanted to go.

 

Magdalene is OK in my book....I think she'll be a friend to both of them...maybe Gideon should be taking her out if he needs a date....No, no....I just want him to go out in public w/ Eva! lol...With a nice huge beautiful ring on her finger that Gideon has probably had for weeks....hehe

I have a couple thoughts about the comments today.  

 

Gideon's quiet demeanor--I have a feeling that he is so concerned about Eva after seeing the pictures but especially the videos that Nathan has.  Can you imagine hearing her cries as her step-brother rapes her?  I'm sure seeing these videos also brought back some of his own past.  I think he is mentally working through ways to fix this for Eva but foremost in his mind is protecting her.

 

Regarding Victor and his relationship with Gideon - I'm confident that he is going to see the evidence that the NYPD found in Nathan's room which will include the graphic "trophies" that Nathan recorded.  I believe Victor is a father first and as much as he is a police office, even cops will take matters in their own hands on occasion.  I think it would be difficult for any parent to view pictures of their child from the age of 10 to 14 being raped.  I know I would be able to forgive anyone who protected my child.  It will also come out that Nathan is the person who violently attached Cary, a man they all love and consider family.  He knows that it wouldn't be long before Nathan got to Eva.  Graves and company know this too.

 

Sylvia's surprise - I feel there will be a trial at some point too.  I believe there has to be something that will remove the treat of arrest from hanging over the couple's head.  I don't think Gideon will be in jail however.  I think someone posted that he wouldn't get bail because he is so wealthy and can run easily.  I just don't see Sylvia putting Gideon in jail for any length of time so she will probably fall back on creative license and keep him free. 

 

June 4th is getting closer!

I wonder if Gideon kept the pics/ videos that Nathan brought. I mean, if he beat him up, he could have snatched them from him. If so, I wonder what he did w/ them? Destroy, keep for some sort of evidence? How horrible I'm sure it brought back all of Gideons emotions from his abuse too.

I'm also curious on how they got Nathan out of the building. Sercuity escort? Also, why did Gideon's receptionist make Eva'a back straighten? Could she have known that Nathan was tied to Eva? Ahhh!! So many questionss!!!

Er, maybe because he never had been jumping her bones frequently to begin with?

 

Maybe she had been the one initiating sex most of the time -- so like the hordes of women who later made Gideon offers he couldn't refuse  -- she was careful about her timing?

I was thinking the same thing ! They were together for three years! I mean , GidEva ( lol) could have done it in the week she had t , bath, shower lol. Didn't Eva say something , or think it rather, that she hAdnt experienced that part of a relationship also? But in Bared, she said she had gotten further w Gideon ten she had in relationships lasting two years. Confused about that.

Lucky you..!!! That's like this other series I'm reading "The Blackstone Affair" (I think that's the name) I found it last month and the 3rd book comes out 2moro..! Yay keep me busy to June 4th

How is that series? Is the third book the final one? I'm waiting on toooooo many sequels ! Lol.

It was a great interview, lasting an hour long and more than half it with Sylvia talking about being an author -- and giving advice on would-be authors.

 

She did go into some detail about the plans for bringing Crossfire to cable TV - that especially is stuff I'll write about tomorrow when I'm able to get back online.

 

KiMa already has hit the high points of much of the Crossfire related things Sylvia said, so only adding two things:

 

Best quote ever! "Gideon's going to want a ring on it." YES!

 

And she admitted that on one hand, Corrine is one of those "catty b**** you always hate." But while Sylvia doesn't agree with Corrine's methods, she does recognize Corrine is in love with Gideon -- had him in the past, and he slipped through her fingers. So Sylvia does sympathize with her.

Love it! Put a ring on  it! lol!

Had a glass(or two) or wine while listening to this! Fun!

 

Also, so glad i've been pronouncing Eva's name correctly in my head..lol..It's always the way i've been hearing  it.
