I am hoping that by the time the February chat is here there will be some news, but I have honestly talked to so many people that are losing interest in the series that it is disheartening. I can't help but wonder what the hold up with the next book is. Perhaps we will be looking at an early April release *fingers crossed*

They are carolc here in the states. In Europe books are released on Thursdays.

I did get the impression that Gideon is speaking a ton more to Sylvia since she had always maintained that she couldn't connect with him, and now with the NYDÂ snippet and then her comments in the interview it certainly wouldn't surprise me to see some of his POV in there.

Welcome jnclain2. Â I believe the last title was tossed about when Sylvia was trying to think of the title for CBY. I do believe there were tons of people that were leaning towards a title with 'Forever' in the mix. As for your other questions we can hope Sylvia will see and respond. I would be surprised if there was a novella in the works, but you never know.

At one point Amazon UK had the date up as May. Sylvia had said at the time that a date hadn't been decided on so that was false.

I'm not sure how many books Sylvia has with Penguin but certainly not all of them so I don't think the reason for the delay is that they are trying to push her other books. I do admit that I am getting a bit frustrated with this wait myself. I had high hopes that Gideon would be to us by the end of the year, but that is looking like a long shot at this point. I know it's not Sylvia's fault that there are these delays, but the masses will be annoyed and I would be surprised if it didn't have an effect on sales. Â

No worries Strawberry.   to the forum. We all feel for Sylvia because she is of course inundated with questions about when Captivated will be coming out, and unfortunately Penguin probably jerks her around as much as they jerk us readers around.  It will be worth the wait though.Â

Charlie wasn't my choice for CG, but I think he can act and I was getting used to the idea of him as Christian. I'm not sure IÂ buy the excuse the studio is trying to sell. I will admit to being anxious for the FSoG movie, but I am even more anxious to have Gideon on my TV once a week!
